Da Face is one of the hardest working and most prolific Hip Hop artists in Trinidad and Tobago. He is one of the rappers who has epitomized and popularized rapping with a “Trini” accent with local slang and content over Hip Hop production. Over the span of a sixteen-year career as a Hip Hop artist, Da Face has released thirteen projects in total: one solo album about life in his alma mater UWI, five solo mixtapes which include a trilogy called “Keep It Trini”, two joint mixtapes with a group called “Mecasmiastic Ent” which spawned hits such as “Cheese Pie and Pack Juice“ (189K views on YouTube), “From Ah Island’ and “Nobody On You” and a joint album with another hip hop artiste “Enginear” called “Kaiflo” which is a unique and scintillating fusion of Hip Hop and Kaiso.. He has many videos on YouTube which have garnered hundreds of thousands of views. He also was featured in the Hip Hop documentary titled “The Twin Island State“, which examined the state of Hip Hop in Trinidad and Tobago.

His most recent work is a seventeen-track, double-album project called “Crapaud Smoke Dey Pipe”, which captures the raw pulse of Trinidad. Side A is filled with unapologetic Trini rap bangers that keep the energy on a high. Side B dives deep into the introspective, soulful side, with stories of love, life and reflection. This album was released on July 23rd, 2025, to all streaming services and thus far has received much acclaim from fans as a solid project that mixes catchy tunes with deeper, introspective content.

Da Face continues to push the boundaries of Caribbean Hip Hop and Rapso, blending sharp lyricism with authentic island storytelling. His goal is to continue to build cultural pride by embodying the mannerisms, slang and ethos of Trinidad and Tobago in every rhyme and lyric. As he expands his artistry, one thing remains certain — Da Face isn’t just making music, he’s building a legacy that will echo far beyond Trinidad and Tobago.
