Da Face is THE hardest working artiste on the sweet island of Trinidad and Tobago. The genre of music he practices is Hip Hop/Rapso where the Rapso side describes his vocals that completely represent the slang and twang of his native country Trinidad & Tobago and the Hip Hop side describes the style of the beats and some of the flows he employs. He is also the joint Founder and CEO of Future Crab Studios which is a music label, recording studio and events promotions company.
Da Face has released several musical projects: one solo album about life in his alma mater UWI, one joint EP, five solo mixtapes which include a trilogy of mixtapes called “Keep It Trini”, two joint mixtapes with a group called “Mecasmiastic Ent” which spawned hits such as “Cheese Pie and Pack Juice“, “From Ah Island’ and “Nobody On You” and a joint album with another hip hop artiste “Enginear” called “Kaiflo” which is a unique and scintillating fusion of Hip Hop and Kaiso. . He also has many videos on Youtube which have garnered hundreds of thousands of views which you can check out to get a visual on Da Face.
Da Face has released his new album “Mogul Music” in May 2018 and is working on a movie to go with the project. The storyline of this movie fleshes out the concepts introduced in Mogul Music and is still in the works. Also in 2021, Da Face released a 5 song EP with Daniel Hamilton called “Rapso & Breakups”.
Da Face has a joint EP planned for 2022 called “Busy” with a fellow Hip Hop artiste called DNA_868_Muzik. He will be performing tracks off this album at “September Fest”, an annual alternative music festival developed by his company Future Crab Studios.
